Meet Jill

Welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way to my site. Let me tell you a little about myself...

I love the Bible, coffee, knitting, reading and enjoying the great outdoors. I've been married to my husband Steve for 13 years and we have two beautiful children. My love of in-depth study of the Bible lead me to complete degrees in Biblical Languages and Old Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS). During my time at GCTS, as my husband and I began thinking of starting our own family, I started to think about how we could teach the younger generation the difficult stories of the Bible in a way that didn't water them down, but also didn't terrify our children.

As we had our own children and I began to think more seriously about this, eventually accepting a position as Director of Children's Ministries at a local church. I spent three years in that role before moving into the world of curriculum development as the DWELL Curriculum Coordinator. I currently spend my days doing all things DWELL: editing content, creating new content, connecting with and equipping DWELL leaders, and collaborating on new resources for use at church and home.

My hope through this site is to share with you what I've found helpful. One of my strengths (if you've ever done the strength finder) is "input." If you read about this, you'll find that I like to collect things--mainly information. Throughout my day I collect endless information that might be helpful for those seeking to raise kingdom kids. This is my attempt to share that knowledge.
